Our Mission
America's 17 million hospitality workers may collectively be missing tens of billions in federal individual income tax deductions each year under the One Big Beautiful Bill (IRS Notice 2025-69). We built Payroll Genie to give employees and employers a clear record of potentially qualifying tip and FLSA overtime premium amounts so those deductions can be claimed at filing time.
Traditional payroll providers were built for large corporations on outdated technology. They haven't built OBBB tracking that gives employees an advisory record of the potentially qualifying amounts to bring to their tax professional. Payroll Genie does not change payroll taxable wages, withholding, FICA, paystubs, W-2, 1099, Form 941, Form 940, or filing outputs based on OBBB tracked amounts — the actual deduction is claimed on each employee's individual federal income tax return.
